- Roller shade
- Scissors or utility knife
- Measuring tape

1. Open the window and measure the width of the opening.
2. Measure the height of the opening.
3. Write down these measurements.
1. Add ½-inch seam allowance to both the width and height measurements.
1. Lay the vinyl out on a flat surface.
2. Use a pencil and a straight edge to mark the cutting line.
3. Cut along the cutting line using scissors or a utility knife.
1. Fold the edges of the vinyl under ½-inch.
2. Stitch the edges in place.
1. Determine where you want to place the mounting brackets on the window frame and use a pencil to mark the spots.
2. Drill starter holes at your marks and use a screwdriver to insert the provided wall anchors.
3. Attach the mounting brackets with your drill.
4. Slide the roller shade into the mounting brackets.
5. Lower the shade and adjust the height as desired.
