How to Make a Lighted PVC Candy Cane Decoration

- 10' length of 1" PVC pipe

- One 90° elbow fitting

- Hacksaw

- Tape Measure

- Sharpie

- 2-3 cans of spray paint (red, white)

- 15 ft of rope light

- Plastic cable ties

- Drill

Instructions:

1. Measure and cut the PVC pipe into two 4' lengths and one 2' length.

2. Attach the 90° elbow fitting to one of the 4' lengths, creating an "L" shape.

3. Spray paint the entire project white and set aside to dry completely.

4. Insert the rope lights into the hollow tube of the PVC frame.

5. Use plastic cable ties to attach the rope lights in place, every few feet, so they do not sag.

6. Spray paint over the open ends of the PVC pipe red to create the stripes. Let dry.

7. Once completely dry, display your lighted candy cane decoration as you wish!
