Elephant How to Make an Costume for Halloween

* Grey felt (1 yard)

* White felt (1/2 yard)

* Black felt (1/4 yard)

* Pink felt (1/4 yard)

* Yellow felt (1/4 yard)

* Orange felt (1/4 yard)

* Brown felt (1/4 yard)

* Poly-fil (1 pound)

* Sewing machine

* Thread

* Scissors

* Fabric glue

* Hot glue gun

* Ruler

* Pen or pencil

Instructions

1. Print out the elephant pattern pieces.

2. Cut out the pattern pieces from felt.

3. Sew the body pieces together, leaving the bottom open.

4. Stuff the body with Poly-fil.

5. Sew the bottom of the body closed.

6. Sew the head pieces together, leaving the bottom open.

7. Stuff the head with Poly-fil.

8. Sew the bottom of the head closed.

9. Sew the ears together.

10. Glue the ears to the head.

11. Cut out a circle from white felt for the eye.

12. Glue the eye to the head.

13. Cut out a smaller circle from black felt for the pupil.

14. Glue the pupil to the eye.

15. Cut out a long, thin strip of black felt for the trunk.

16. Glue the trunk to the head.

17. Cut out four small circles from pink felt for the toenails.

18. Glue the toenails to the feet.

19. Cut out four small circles from yellow felt for the tusks.

20. Glue the tusks to the head.

21. Cut out a small triangle from orange felt for the tail.

22. Glue the tail to the back of the body.

23. Cut out a small circle from brown felt for the belly button.

24. Glue the belly button to the belly.

25. Your elephant costume is now complete!
