## How to Hang Curtains to Divide a Room Without Making Holes

>Curtains can be a great way to divide a room without having to make any permanent changes. They can be used to create privacy, block out light, or simply add a touch of style to your home. Follow these steps to hang curtains without making any holes in the wall.

Materials:

- Curtain rod and brackets

- Drill or screwdriver

- Screws

- Wall anchors (if necessary)

- Measuring tape

- Level

- Curtains

- Curtain rings or hooks

Instructions:

1. Measure the Window.

To start, you'll need to measure the width and height of the window you want to cover. Add 4-6 inches to the width measurement to allow for overlap, and add 4 inches to the height measurement. This will be the size of your curtain panel.

2. Cut the Curtains.

If your curtains are too long, you'll need to cut them to the desired length. Measure and mark the fabric, then use sharp scissors to cut straight lines.

3. Install the Curtain Rod.

Once the curtains are ready, it's time to install the curtain rod. Choose a spot that's high enough so that the curtains will hang at least an inch above the floor. Measure and mark the locations of the brackets, then use a drill or screwdriver to install the screws and wall anchors (if necessary).

4. Attach the Curtains to the Rod.

Once the curtain rod is installed, it's time to attach the curtains. You can use curtain rings or hooks, depending on the style of your curtain rod.

5. Admire Your Work.

Once the curtains are hung, it's time to admire your work. You've now successfully divided your room without making any permanent changes.
