Rebar, short for reinforcing bars, exist in concrete walls and structures to provide added support. Once a concrete structure is demolished, rebar may remain intact, causing an eyesore and preventing new building. Rebar is relatively easy to remove with a few construction tools and can be recycled into tent stakes or playground equipment.
