How to Insert Wall Sign Holders

Wall signs can be positioned everywhere from right outside your front door ("Beware of Dog") to inside your home office (inspirational quotes or price lists). Placing the sign inside a plastic sign holder will add longevity to the sign by preventing it from discoloration and weathering. Many sign holders come with a hanging kit, but if they do not, screws from your local hardware store will do the job. Once these sign holders are mounted on your wall, you can change the sign inside them with ease.

Instructions

    • 1

Measure up from the floor to the height that the sign will be placed at. Place a pencil mark on the wall at that location.

    • 2

Place the plastic wall sign holder against the wall so that its bottom lines up with the pencil mark.

    • 3

Tear two 3-inch pieces of masking tape off of the roll.

    • 4

Place one piece on the top side of the sign holder and one on the bottom; the tape should overlap both the wall and sign holder.

    • 5

Step back and eyeball the holder to ensure that it is hung straight.

    • 6

Slip a screw into the screw-hole in the top right portion of the sign holder.

    • 7

Use the cordless screwdriver to tighten the screw into the wall.

    • 8

Repeat on the top left, bottom left and bottom right sections of the holder until all four screws are anchored in the wall.

    • 9

Slide your wall sign into the slot on the top of the sign holder.
