Doorway Jamb
1. Take measurements of the doorway gap:
- Width gap between Pergo flooring and door jamb
- Height of the gap under the door
2. Cut the Pergo flooring:
- Cut a piece of Pergo flooring that fits within the width gap. If needed, several thin pieces of flooring can be used.
- Cut a 1/2 inch strip of Pergo flooring for the gap under the door.
Install Pergo
1. Add sealant:
- Add sealant (caulk) to the back of the Pergo flooring pieces.
2. Fill Door Jamb gap:
- Slide the piece of Pergo flooring into the gap between the door jamb and the Pergo flooring.
- Repeat if necessary
3. Fill Under-Door Gap
- Slide a 1/2-inch strip of Pergo flooring under the door.
4. Finish
- Add touch-up sealant where necessary.
