How to Get Caramel Out of a Carpet

1. Blot up the caramel immediately. Don't rub it, as this will only spread it around.

2. Test a cleaning solution on a small, inconspicuous area of the carpet. This will ensure that the solution doesn't damage the carpet.

3. Apply the cleaning solution to the caramel stain. Work from the outside of the stain to the inside.

4. Blot the stain with a clean, white cloth. Don't rub it.

5. Rinse the area with water.

6. Blot the area dry.

7. If the stain remains, repeat steps 3-6.

Here are some additional tips for removing caramel from a carpet:

- Use a mild dishwashing liquid or laundry detergent as your cleaning solution. Avoid using harsh chemicals, as they can damage the carpet.

- If the caramel is old or set-in, you may need to use a commercial carpet cleaner.

- Be patient - removing caramel from a carpet may take some time and effort.

- If you're not confident in your ability to remove the stain, you can always contact a professional carpet cleaner.
