You will need:
* A square lap loom
* Yarn in two or more colors
* A tapestry needle
* A ruler
1. Place the loom on a flat surface.
2. Wrap the warp yarn around the pegs, going from left to right.
3. Tie the ends of the warp yarn together in a square knot.
1. Select your weft color and cut a piece of yarn about twice the width of your loom.
2. Feed the weft yarn under and over the warp yarns, following the pattern of a plain weave: over one warp yarn, under the next, and so on.
3. Continue weaving until you reach the desired length.
1. Cut the weft yarn, leaving a tail about 6 inches long.
2. Weave the tail end of the weft yarn through the warp yarns to secure it.
3. Remove the project from the loom.
4. Weave in any loose ends.
